The Department of Philosophy and Education is one of only two philosophy departments in Italy recognized as “excellent” by the Italian Ministry of Education. It is home to distinguished senior researchers of international fame as well as rising stars with a highly active research profile. Research and teaching activities are carried out in a lively and open environment, drawing from an unusually wide scope of philosophical traditions and fostering their active and fruitful interaction.

During term time, there is rarely a week without a seminar with a guest speaker, a public lecture, a reading group, or an international conference or workshop. Students are welcome to participate in these activities and to experience the spirit of philosophical research in Turin. The meetings are open to everybody.

Check out the websites below to be informed about the current activities. Many groups are also present on Facebook and other social media.
